High-tech Flexible Printed Circuit Cables Application

Flexible printed circuit, abbreviated as FPC, also has many features that PCB includes. Based on the relevant inheritance and extension, FPC has developed some new-born characteristics that PCB does not include. To be more specific, FPC cable has high flexibility, high density, light weight and low thickness. Generally, by importing SFGL series FPC connector with ZIF as terminal, FCI can give more possibilities of flexible printed circuit product advanced development. The 0.4 mm wide pitch and 0.9 mm high thickness connector is no doubt the most suitable for the application in notebooks. Electronic cable technical engineers devote themselves to the researching and developing new models which combine new high technologies with conventional solid foundation. As a matter of fact, there must have been many changes in whole design and application in FPC. In addtion, the electronic cables are obviously no exception, because they are indispensable to computers and other modern electronic products. It’s wise to replace the flexible printed circuit cables as the first step of improvement, and this is crucial to the whole configuration and operation for the sake of update and fast running operation. Flexible printed circuit, abbreviated as FPC, also has many features that PCB includes. Based on the relevant inheritance and extension, FPC has developed some new-born characteristics that PCB does not include. To be more specific, FPC cable has high flexibility, high density, light weight and low thickness. Aside from that, the cable is simply foldable and bendable, which is good for practical cable assembly and installing adjustment. The cable can be adopted in a great variety of products, mainly in some with narrow space, high density and small volume. In general, we can categorize these FPC-applied consumer products, such as notebook computer, cellphone, LCD, plasma displayer, digital camera, hard disk, CD-ROM drive, mobile memory etc.
